Information for Military Students and Dependents

The Purdue University community is grateful for the hard work and sacrifice of our nation’s men and women in the military services. Purdue is a Military-Friendly institution and our online programs are ideal for service members and their family members stationed overseas, and for veterans interested in building their skills in preparation for re-entering the civilian workforce and the next phase of their lives.

Purdue University offers benefits to service members through the GI Bill, the Post 9/11 GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program. Benefits may also be available to the children of disabled veterans or those deceased due to service-related injuries.

In the case of military call-ups, members of the reserves may receive partial credit or a refund on tuition and our staff will work with you to ease your transition when you return.

As an active service member, a member of the reserves or a veteran, you may be eligible to receive additional benefits. Contact your branch of the armed services or call us today at 877-497-5851 to speak to an admissions advisor.
