Scott Schaffer’s background in learning and communications systems includes over 15 years of experience in both industry and education. He has been involved in a number of large corporate HR program initiatives and rollouts across industry sectors including the military and government. Recent major projects include development of corporate university architecture and implementation-change management plans for two global organizations. Scott has also been a tenured faculty member in the College of Education at Purdue where he was Primary Investigator on two National Science Foundation studies related to team learning and communications. He was a core developer and instructor in the Learning Design and Technology program’s online MS program where his expertise areas included: Change Management, Strategic Evaluation, Learning Systems, and Research Methods. Scott has a doctorate in Instructional Systems from the Educational Psychology and Learning Systems department at Florida State University and has over 75 publications, book chapters, and presentations to his credit.
