What You’ll Learn in EDCI 67000
As you near completion of your Learning Design Technology (LDT) coursework, this one-credit course will guide you in the completion of your competency portofolio – demonstrating the depth and breadth of your educational growth since entering the graduate program.
The purpose of the LDT competency portfolio is to demonstrate a mastery of the graduate competencies for the LDT online Master’s program. It will contain projects aligned with LDT competencies and will be reviewed by committee members. The competencies are based on the Curriculum & Instruction departmental competencies and several LDT-specific competencies. It is a requirement for graduation from the LDT Master’s program.

- Developing your Portfolio
- Developing your Resume
- Professional Portfolios
- Competencies and Job Skills
Course Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of EDCI 67000 Learning Design and Technology Portfolio, you will be able to:
- Develop an electronic version of your competency portfolio based on artifacts as evidence.
- Compose narratives that explain how your artifacts demonstrate each competency.
- Develop an updated resume suitable for job searching.
- Deconstruct relevant job postings in the field.
