Assistant Professor, Dr. Jake Burdick teaches curriculum in the Curriculum and Instruction Department at Purdue University, specifically, Foundations of Curriculum as well as Seminar in Curriculum: Writing and Research for Equity and Diversity.

Jake held a two-year appointment as SIG Chair, Critical Issues in Curriculum and Cultural Studies SIG at the American Education Research Association. He’s a current Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Curriculum and Pedagogy, and past Publications Chair and member of The Curriculum and Pedagogy Group.

Dr. Burdick utilizes narrative inquiry, psychoanalysis, and post-structural thought as inquiry approaches in his research of:
